The type of evaluation drills used will be determined by the LoweMac Baseball Committee and may be modified by the individual League Coordinator. Generally, player evaluations include infield play (grounders and throws), outfield play (fly balls and arm strength/accuracy), pitching (control and velocity) and hitting (power and contact). Other skills may be added at the Baseball Committee's sole discretion. Player will be graded on a 5 to 1 scale with 5 being the highest grade: 5 = player demonstrating exceptional skill or proficiency; an "all star" 4 = player with "starting line-up" skills - very capable relative to age and league level competition 3 = demonstrates good fundamental skills and has potential to play at target level 2 = player requires more skill development to succeed at League level 1 = skills are not developed on par with peer group or league competitions level
